Recent & Upcoming Screenings – We’ve been busy!

The first week of March we were at South Dearborn High School for their (3rd) day of cardiac screenings!  Many thanks to the SDHS community, especially Kiersten Dixon and her family for helping to promote the screenings and helping to cover some costs with the “Duck Throw” Fundraiser.  We also were at Oldenburg Academy for a day of screenings. In total there were 59 student athletes get their hearts checked!

On April 11th and 12th we will be at Switzerland County High School, as we work collaboratively with the Community Foundation of Switzerland County, Inc and MCORE Foundation to provide screenings to the Pacer athletes (both days filled).  On May 15th, we will be at Batesville High School again for screenings of any Bulldog athletes. We are extremely grateful for all of the generous contributions and support in allowing us to provide and assist with placement of over 50 AED’s in the last 4-5 years. However, we have decided to put our AED Grant Program on an indefinite “hold” for the time being.  If you know of a club, school, or organization that is in need of an AED, please let us know.  We can assist with purchase of the life saving devices at a discount.
